On Wednesday, the Seoul city government said it had signed a deal with the Korea Tourism Organization and Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion house, to collaborate on promoting tourism as part of the campaign with the name – visit Korea year 2023-2024.

Under the joint venture, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is targeting to draw international tourists to Korea by endorsing “K-culture,” comprising special event organizing on the Han River banks and in other cultural occasions. The KTO will assist in developing the content to enhance tourism and attract more visitors to the country. Louis Vuitton, in return, the French luxury powerhouse will aid the city in drawing greater number of foot traffic by taking part in the tourism marketing of Seoul.

The three sides will team up to make promotional activities that would help in drawing travelers to the country, as part of the agreement. Also, an online travel guide for the Han River and Seoul will be available on the Louis Vuitton City Guide App as well. It’s a catalog of the travel guides of the French luxury brand to the most fascinating cities of the world.

Independently, Louis Vuitton is all prepared to organize its offline pre-fall fashion show for 2023 at Sebitseom on April 29th. This venue is located on the Han River in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the first-ever fashion show of this fashion house in Korea.
