To boost state tourism, promote film shooting, says the actor

Today, Ayush Sharma, the son of Mandi Sadar MLA Anil Sharma and Bollywood actor said that the state government should take the initiative of promoting film shooting in Himachal Pradesh to give a major push to the sector.

While expressing his thoughts to media persons here, he said that the film industry and the tourism of the state were connected to each other. He mentioned that wherever film shoots are done, visitors start coming to this place.

He also explained that several states on film shooting are giving discounts to draw Bollywood for the promotion of tourism. Also, the Government of Himachal Pradesh can do this to pull the Bollywood sector.

Himachal Pradesh is a gorgeous Indian state and is blessed with abundance in terms of nature, where for film shoot, many places can be explored in a nicer way. Yet for the Bollywood Industry, two place – Manali and Shimla are the most preferred ones for shooting purposes however, there are many other places that
are much beautiful and can be explored in Himachal.

Ayush also said that in Himachal, the state government ideally should aim on growing a film city to attract the Bollywood along with regional film industries.
