Today, the Directorate of Jammu Tourism arranged an interactive session. It was regarding promoting Jammu tourism with the stakeholders, clubbed together with a ceremony to honor the participants of Heritage Walk that was organized on April 15 th , 2023, at the time of Basoa Baisakhi Mahotsav 2023.
Over 60 Heritage Walk participants together with the main stakeholders comprising college professors, students, tour operators, travel agents, and hoteliers were honored at the event. The main target of the event was to strengthen the industry and discover ground-breaking policies to display the true charm and loveliness of Jammu.
In the interactive session organized in the Conference Hall of Tourist Reception Centre Jammu, a comprehensive discussion was arranged in terms of emphasizing the natural beauty of Jammu, commemorating its lively culture, disclosing the treasures of history, and traveling around the
eco-friendly places to make sure the conservation of the immaculate environment of Jammu is done through sustainable practices of tourism.
Vivekanand Rai, Director Tourism, Jammu, emphasized the significance of structuring a powerful system in terms of passionate organizations and individuals all set to make Jammu a famous tourist place.
He also highlighted the requirement to make a memorable experience for travelers by allowing the local communities and safeguarding the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
The stakeholders enthusiastically discussed the pivotal role of robust road connectivity in unlocking the potential of tourist destinations.
