The primary objective of Tomorrow.Building World Congress (TBWC), organized by Fira de Barcelona, is to showcase the most innovative and sustainable construction projects. The event features prominent companies driving sector transformation and startups with creative initiatives. Additionally, TBWC fosters discussions on the industry’s future, engaging a hundred experts to tackle challenges related to decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainable urban development.

The event, which takes place from November 7 to 9, will bring together about 50 businesses. These include prominent global corporations leading the way in the creation of smart cities, like Siemens and Samsung C&T Corporation; Samoo Architects & Engineers, a Korean architectural firm known for its efficient and sustainable designs globally; and CBRE, Drees&Sommer, Johnson Controls, Roshn Group, and SPIE. There will also be space for businesses with creative initiatives, like Bioo, which has created a plan to use plant photosynthesis to generate electricity.

The event also serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and industry-wide discussions on topics including design technology, green districts, decarbonization, and PropTech. Additionally, it addresses pressing urban challenges such as access to affordable and sustainable housing, urban preparedness for refugees, and accelerating the energy transition. Tomorrow.Building World Congress aims to foster meaningful dialogue and innovative solutions for the cities of today and tomorrow.

The congress program will bring together a hundred experts, including notable figures such as Nate Blecharczyk, Co-founder and Director of Strategy of Airbnb; Lebanese architect and Artificial Intelligence specialist Chantal Matar; Peter Körte, Director of Technology at Siemens; Peggy Deamer, Professor Emeritus at the Yale School of Architecture and Founder of The Architecture Lobby; Natalia Oliver, architect and BIM specialist; and Piero Pelizzaro, Director of the National Hub for the Regeneration of Public Buildings and expert in climate change policies.

Furthermore, FC Barcelona will unveil the latest developments in the construction project of the new Spotify Camp Nou and its urban renewal initiative, Espai Barça. Tomorrow.Building takes place concurrently with Smart City Expo World Congress, Tomorrow.Mobility, Tomorrow.Blue Economy, and PUZZLE X. Together, these events are expected to attract over 25,000 attendees, 1,000 exhibitors, and representatives from over 800 cities and 140 countries.
