Easter is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary. The holidays of Easter are good times to take a trip to countries across Europe.

It is a time of celebration in Europe where people celebrate it after the Good Friday. Eggs, bunnies and holiday cheer marks the celebration and all the European cities celebrate it in different ways. Here are the top 10 best places to visit during the Easter celebrations in Europe:

Sweden
Skansen Museum in Stockholm is the best place to visit Sweden during the Easter holidays. An abundance of pickled herring will be a treat to the visitors. The Skansen Museum is an open air musem where history meets the modern day in a natural environment where one can also see various Swedish flora and fauna in its natural environment.
