Tourism Ireland has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a new Northern Ireland head of stakeholder engagement.
Helen McGorman will take up the post immediately and be based at the organisation’s office in Coleraine. McGorman will work with colleagues at Tourism Northern Ireland, as well as other agencies, local authorities and groups, to identify opportunities to rebuild overseas tourism to Northern Ireland.
Prior to the appointment, she was a visitor experience consultant for the National Trust. Shane Clarke, Tourism Ireland’s director of corporate services, policy and Northern Ireland, said that Helen brings a wealth of industry experience and a very strong track record of achievement to the role.
She takes up this pivotal post of head of stakeholder engagement in Northern Ireland at a challenging time, as we restart overseas tourism to Northern Ireland.
