Tourism Malaysia affiliates with Goa

In 2000, almost every television set was acquainted with the attractive Malaysian advertisement -“Malaysia Truly Asia,” the ad tagline was sung almost ten times a day.

After years later, in August afternoon this beautiful tune was refreshingly repeated which along the years had got disappeared completely. Now, Goa heard the song on a larger screen was the only difference at the Tourism Malaysia Sales Mission 2023 with the help of sound effects like never before. It was held at the Double Tree by Hilton Goa Panjim.

Malaysia is said to be Asia’s soul and essence other than just a song, attracting to town its second consecutive roadshow which was planned from August 14 th till 26 th , 2023. In the city of Amritsar, this roadshow kicked off and went through Nagpur, Lucknow, and Pune and lastly it made it to Goa before it moves to Cochin.

The Deputy Overseas Director, Tourism Malaysia, New Delhi, Muhammad Akmal Hafiz Abdul Aziz, then Ahmad Zuwairi Yusoff, Consul General of Malaysia, and Director of Tourism Malaysia, foreign, Mumbai, Noriah Jaafar, briefed at the press conference to the media people on all that Malaysia has to offer. The consul general said that they are keen to create an alliance with Goa and Malaysia.
