Tourism Malaysia grabbed Leading Country Tourism Board Category of the world once again

Tourism Malaysia has grabbed the Leading Country Tourism Board Category of the world once again at the Uzakrota Global Travel Awards 2021. It was hosted on 3rd December 2021, at Madame Tussauds Museum, Istanbul. Organized by the Uzakrota Travel Summit, the annual event is set to recognize as well as recompense the industry players for their excellence in the sector. The Leading Country Tourism Board Award of the world was presented to Tourism Malaysia through its foreign office in Istanbul, to the Deputy Director of Tourism Malaysia Istanbul, Ms. Syafinaz Bujang.


The award act as a compliment to Tourism Malaysia for its active role and contribution in regular promotion through the mainstream and social media, along with meeting with the industry players and tourism partners following Tourism Malaysia Istanbul’s participation in Malaysia Meet 2021 and Uzakrota Online Global Summit 2021.


Tourism Malaysia received 851 votes for the Leading Country Tourism Board Category of the World, ahead of Saudi Tourism Authority (684 votes) and Dominican Republic Tourism Board (517 votes). The judging and voting processes take into account the global efforts of all Tourism Malaysia’s foreign offices.
