Tourists are confused after Morocco quake

Some of the most well-liked tourist destinations, Greece, Turkey, Hawaii and, currently Morocco have got massively destroyed by various natural calamities in 2023, like wildfires, earthquakes, and floods damaging towns and villages completely, taking lives of the residents, and damaging cultural monuments.


The series of disastrous events has left tourists worldwide in a puzzle over the way to respond to such situations. Those by now in a country in the wake of a tragedy discuss whether they should stay or they should leave. Those having impending trips are anxious if they should cancel the trip or continue. Can the
revenue these tourists bring in be of any true help, or they’ll be a burden? How suitable is it to let go tourism as a country is in a condition of national mourning and rescue operations are under way?


The travel experts say that there are no easy answers to this situation. The impact of each disaster is exceptional, as travelers are suggested to adhere to the government guidance in the repercussion of such natural calamities, local communities don’t always decide what steps to adopt.


After the wildfires of Maui that damaged majority of the Lahaina town in August, taking at least 115 peoples lives, residents clashed to allow tourism to continue.
