Prepare for a warmer winter ahead with American Airlines unveiling more routes to stunning beaches and captivating destinations in Australia, Brazil, Hawaii, and Mexico.

Commencing in October, American will introduce new service from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Brisbane, Australia (BNE), and in June to Veracruz, Mexico (VER). Additionally, from DFW, American will launch new service to Rio de Janeiro (GIG) and resume service to Kona, Hawaii (KOA) for the winter season.

Brian Znotins, American’s Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning, expressed excitement about expanding the international network to provide customers with additional options for escaping the winter chill. The collaboration with Qantas enhances the travel experience, offering an extensive network connecting the United States and the South Pacific.

For AAdvantage® members, exploring new destinations becomes even more rewarding with opportunities to earn miles and Loyalty Points both in the air and beyond. Tickets for these new routes will be available for purchase starting February 5 on aa.com and American’s mobile app.

Embark on a journey Down Under with the inaugural service between DFW and BNE beginning in October. The longest nonstop flight in American’s network, this route allows convenient one-stop connections to BNE from over 100 destinations across the United States. Brisbane and the state of Queensland boast stunning coastlines, renowned zoos, a vibrant cultural scene, and an impressive 280 days of sun each year. Travelers can enhance their premium experience on American’s newly designed Boeing 787-9 aircraft featuring 51 Flagship Suite® seats and 32 Premium Economy seats.

The American-Qantas partnership, offering services from various U.S. gateways to major destinations in Australia and New Zealand, solidifies its position as one of the most comprehensive networks. Customers can connect to over 200 destinations across the U.S. and nearly 70 destinations across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Starting October 27, American will introduce service between DFW and GIG, adding up to four daily flights to Brazil, making it the airline with the most daily flights to GIG from the U.S. The service between DFW and KOA will also resume, offering up to five daily flights to Hawaii from DFW, providing access to lush landscapes, volcanic wonders, and the aloha spirit.

In addition to the winter service expansions, American will enhance its summer offerings with more flights to the Caribbean and Mexico. Flights to Veracruz, Mexico, will commence on June 12, contributing to a total of over 55 peak-day departures from DFW to Mexico.

As part of the oneworld® alliance, American celebrates 25 years of delivering exceptional travel experiences, connecting customers with a global network of over 4.5 million flights to 900 destinations in 170 territories.
