TravelHost revamps brand with new site & marketing push

TravelHost unveils a major brand overhaul with a new website and a marketing blitz, marking a fresh chapter in its traveler-focused journey.

TravelHost, a leading provider of essential information and updates for voyagers, today announced the initiation of a major overhaul with the unveiling of its revamped website and a comprehensive digital and traditional marketing campaign. Marking the first phase of an ambitious brand renewal plan, the initiative includes the launch of new social media channels and a debut 15-second advertisement set to be broadcast across digital and television platforms in the first quarter of 2023.

Originally established in 1968 as the first magazine distributed in hotel rooms across the nation, TravelHost was recently acquired by Bridge Media Networks (Bridge Media), an expanding media empire. This acquisition places TravelHost among Bridge Media’s diverse portfolio, which includes television channels NEWSnet™, Sports News Highlights™, and DRIVEN Autos.

To lead this strategic transformation, Orestes Baez, a seasoned professional with over three decades of expertise in the magazine and newspaper industry, was appointed as CEO. Under his leadership, TravelHost has launched in six new markets in 2023, including Nashville and Pigeon Forge, TN; Austin, TX; Virginia Beach, VA; Phoenix, AZ; and the San Diego and Orange County areas in CA. Over the next five years, TravelHost aims to extend its presence to an additional 100 markets across the United States, reflecting a dynamic expansion plan and a renewed marketing approach that underscores the brand’s dedication to offering travelers personalized recommendations for dining, shopping, entertainment, and accommodation.

The newly designed Travelhost.com, developed in collaboration with BLOX Digital, features user-friendly navigation, detailed review-style articles, access to e-Editions of the printed magazines, and seamless integration with Expedia for effortless booking. Visitors can also subscribe to a complimentary newsletter for the latest local insights delivered directly to their inbox.

Embracing the comprehensive suite of solutions from BLOX Digital, TravelHost’s strategic decision is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cost management.
