TUI Flight from Manchester Makes Emergency Landing in Exeter

While descending, the emergency was declared. At 16:05 BST, as the aircraft was descending through 8,000 feet, it transmitted the emergency squawk code 7700 and proceeded to make an emergency landing at Exeter Airport (EXT).

The flight was operated by a Boeing 737-800, with the registration G-FDZD. This 16.9-year-old narrowbody jet is part of TUI Airways’ fleet.
