Turkish Airlines makes history with major Airbus fleet expansion deal

Turkish Airlines, the global leader in international destinations, proudly announces a groundbreaking fleet expansion, securing 355 cutting-edge Airbus aircraft. This monumental order includes 250 A321s and 105 advanced A350 widebody jets, encompassing 60 firm order, 20 purchase right A350-900s, 15 firm order A350-1000s, and 5 firm order and 5 purchase right A350-Freighters.

This strategic move underscores Turkish Airlines’ dedication to bolstering operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and passenger comfort. Embracing these state-of-the-art planes aligns with the airline’s vision to maintain its industry leadership while promoting sustainable growth.

Aligned with this momentous fleet enlargement, as Türkiye’s national flag carrier, Turkish Airlines aims to further strengthen its status with one of the world’s most extensive flight networks. Integrating these Airbus aircraft will enhance connectivity, enabling the airline to link Türkiye to a myriad of global destinations, enriching travel options while upholding the superior service and connectivity that define Turkish Airlines.

On the new order, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated: “This landmark order is more than an expansion; it’s a testament to our dedication to innovation, operational excellence, and a sustainable future. The addition of these advanced Airbus aircraft to our fleet will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also significantly contribute to our environmental goals.
