Her extensive operational expertise, proven commercial leadership and deep experience in wellness and resort management make her exceptionally well placed to lead the property into its next chapter.”

Kanruethai Roongruang, General Manager of Avani+ Hua Hin Resort, said: “I am honoured to join Avani+ Hua Hin Resort and become part of the Minor Hotels family. Avani is a dynamic and innovative brand with a strong commitment to delivering meaningful guest experiences. I look forward to working closely with the team to build on the resort’s success, create memorable moments for our guests and continue driving sustainable growth for the business.”

Set along one of Thailand’s most established and serene seaside destinations, Avani+ Hua Hin Resort presents a contemporary interpretation of coastal hospitality, blending modern design with relaxed beachfront living. The resort is positioned in a region long recognised for its royal heritage, long stretches of sandy shoreline, and growing appeal among both domestic and international travellers seeking a refined yet easygoing escape.

Avani+ Hua Hin Resort is designed around comfort, space, and functionality, offering a wide selection of accommodation types that cater to different traveller needs. Guests can choose from generously proportioned rooms, elegant suites, and private villas that provide enhanced privacy and exclusivity. Each accommodation category is structured to support a seamless stay experience, combining practical layouts with modern interiors and thoughtful amenities that reflect the brand’s contemporary lifestyle approach. The emphasis is on creating an environment that feels open, calming, and suitable for both short leisure stays and extended holidays.

Beyond accommodation, the resort delivers a well-rounded hospitality ecosystem that extends into dining, wellness, recreation, and family-oriented experiences. A variety of dining venues are available on-site, offering guests access to multiple culinary styles and settings. These outlets are designed to accommodate different preferences throughout the day, from relaxed breakfasts to refined evening meals. The culinary approach reflects both international influences and local Thai inspiration, ensuring variety while maintaining a sense of regional identity.

Wellness is another central component of the resort experience. AvaniSpa provides a curated selection of treatments focused on relaxation, rejuvenation, and holistic wellbeing. Complementing this, AvaniWell facilities encourage guests to maintain balanced lifestyles during their stay, integrating fitness and wellness-focused services into the overall resort offering. Together, these amenities position the property as more than just a leisure destination, but as a space where rest and restoration are actively prioritised.

The resort also places strong emphasis on family-friendly design and services. Dedicated spaces and tailored amenities ensure that guests travelling with children can enjoy convenience, safety, and entertainment within the property. This approach reflects the growing demand for multi-generational travel experiences in Thailand’s coastal tourism sector, where resorts are increasingly expected to cater to both adults and younger guests simultaneously.

In addition to its internal offerings, Avani+ Hua Hin Resort benefits from its strategic location near a range of leisure and lifestyle attractions. Guests have easy access to local markets, cultural sites, golf courses, and beach activities, allowing them to explore the wider Hua Hin region without compromising comfort or convenience. This balance between resort privacy and external exploration enhances its appeal as a versatile travel destination.

Leadership at the resort is now being strengthened under the appointment of Kan as General Manager. In this role, Kan is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of resort operations, ensuring that all departments function cohesively and efficiently. A key part of this responsibility involves maintaining and elevating guest satisfaction, which remains central to the resort’s brand identity and long-term positioning in a competitive hospitality market.

Kan’s role also extends to driving commercial performance, which includes revenue management, strategic planning, and market positioning. In a tourism landscape shaped by shifting demand patterns and increasing competition, these responsibilities are critical for sustaining growth and profitability. Equally important is the focus on operational excellence, ensuring that service standards remain consistent across all guest touchpoints.

Another major pillar of Kan’s leadership is team development. By strengthening staff training, improving internal communication, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the resort aims to build a motivated and high-performing workforce. This focus on people development is essential in the hospitality industry, where service quality is directly influenced by employee engagement and capability.

Overall, Avani+ Hua Hin Resort represents a modern coastal retreat that integrates accommodation, wellness, dining, and lifestyle experiences into a unified offering. Under structured leadership and a clear operational vision, the resort continues to position itself as a competitive and appealing destination within Thailand’s evolving hospitality landscape.
