UAE’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub sees historic growth in private jet movements with 17,891 recorded in 2024, setting new standards in global aviation.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South achieved significant growth in private jet activity, registering a record-breaking 17,891 movements in 2024, marking a 7% increase over the previous year. This milestone represents the highest-ever number of private jet operations in Dubai.

December Sees Remarkable Growth
In December alone, Dubai South experienced a 51% increase in movements compared to December 2023, with over 2,600 movements recorded. This surge is attributed to Dubai’s year-round status as a global hub for exhibitions, business, leisure, entertainment, and particularly tourism, with the city welcoming 18.72 million international visitors in 2024, further boosting its appeal as a premier global destination.
MBRAH’s Strategic Positioning
MBRAH continues to offer exceptional connectivity for aerospace companies, becoming a free-zone destination for leading airline, private jet firms, and associated industries. Developed by Dubai South, MBRAH also hosts maintenance centers, as well as training and educational campuses, supporting the growth of the aviation sector.

Dubai South’s Expanding Business Landscape
Dubai South concluded 2024 with notable business growth across its districts. The master development welcomed 415 new companies, increasing the total number of operating businesses to 4,044, with a 94% retention rate among existing companies. In the Dubai South Business Park, 500,000 square feet of office space was leased, a 300% increase from 2023.
The Logistics District also celebrated several milestones, including the opening of a state-of-the-art FedEx air and ground regional hub, the Boston Scientific regional distribution center at Hellmann Calipar Healthcare Logistics, and the groundbreaking of a new dnata Logistics facility.

Dubai South: A Hub for Innovation and Growth
Dubai South continues to solidify its role as Dubai’s largest urban development focused on aviation and logistics, housing what will be the world’s largest airport once fully operational. In addition to this, Dubai South achieved a major milestone by completing the first phase of the **UAE’s autonomous vehicle trials in collaboration with Evocargo.
MBRAH also secured key partnerships with prominent aviation players, including International Energy Resources (IER), which will establish an MRO and engine test facility, and ATS Technic, Liebherr Aerospace, SG Aircraft Maintenance Services, and Sun Air Aircraft Maintenance Services, all setting up new facilities at the hub.
This growth reflects Dubai South’s expanding role in aviation, logistics, and innovation, strengthening its position as a leading global business and aerospace center.
