Udaipur railway station to welcome new water recycle plant

Udaipur railwayProposal for water recycle plant is on the cards for the railway station of Udaipur.

 

Ajmer and Jodhpur zones are already equipped with water recycle plants. In the near future Udaipur railway station is also slated to have a water recycle plant. The water utilized for cleaning the trains would not go to waste under this project but instead be re-utilized for other similar purposes.

 

This information was offered by the General Manager of North Western railway, TP Singh.

 

On Saturday he had inaugurated the RPF barrack at Udaipur railway station. LED light works would be done by the end of March on all railway stations falling under North Western railway. It is expected that LED lights would be saving an expense of about 3 crores on electricity bill.

 

GM TP Singh also attended a cultural program in Railway Training School same evening and presented awards to the winning teams and also participants.

 

The city station is currently a 20-bed RPF barrack that have provisions of kitchen, entertainment room, exercise room, dining hall and facilities.

 

Side tables, mattresses, dining table, cupboards are some of the basic amenities that are available for the RPF rooms. Furthermore laundry work has also commenced at the railway station at Udaipur.
