Union Health & Family Welfare Minister launches healthcare projects

The Union Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched numerous health infrastructure projects at an occasion in Ahmednagar. The projects comprise three Primary Health Care Centers in Ahmednagar which had a virtual launch along with Dr. Vikhe Patil Cancer Center and Dr. Vikhe Patil Nuclear Medicine Center.


Dr. Mandviya said that India is marching forward toward a healthy and thriving future with the help of investments in health infrastructure.


Dr. Mandaviya inaugurated the building of the main building & staff quarters of the Ralegan Siddhi Primary Health Care Center (PHC). The PHC complex will be set up at an approximate cost of Rs.702 lakhs. The Health Minister also inaugurated other important projects along with these.


The Dr. Vikhe Patil Cancer Center and Dr. Vikhe Patil Nuclear Medicine Centers are armed with modern facilities. Both the centers aim to deliver complete medical care to the patients.


During the event, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that India is moving ahead under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Indian government has connected health with development, since only a healthy community can contribute toward countrywide development. The Union Health Minister said that the focus should be on wellness and treatment. It needs to be made sure that people do not fall ill. This is why the Indian government is focusing on health and wellness Centers.
