UnionPay International and Spring Airlines declared their partnership

Of late, UnionPay International and Spring Airlines declared that the official website of Spring Airlines has currently become fully compliant to UnionPay cards for tourists and business travelers coming from Japan, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, South Korea, SAR, just in time before the forthcoming Spring Festival travel blast, guaranteeing that every passenger can have a safe, quick, and convenient payment services. Officially, the new service was launched on January 31st, 2024.

The partnership comprises numerous currencies like the US dollars, Japanese yen, Korean won, Hong Kong dollars, New Taiwan dollars, Thai baht, and Singapore dollars, among many others. These currency transactions on the website of Spring Airlines will formally allow UnionPay cards for any online payments. It is a blessing for more than 230 million UPI cardholders in over 81 countries worldwide, confirming seamless access to the services of Spring Airlines.

Spring Airlines is the first low-cost airline in China, solely operated by private capital and the first low-cost airline set up by a travel agency. Spring Airlines, by the end of 2022, had 116 Airbus A320 series aircraft, with destinations covering China’s important business and tourism cities, Southeast and Northeast Asia. It operates over 210 routes and transports 20 million passengers every year.
