United Airlines Enhances Passenger Experience With Spotify’s Exclusive Content, Featuring 4K Displays And Bluetooth Audio Compatibility

Over 680 United Airlines planes will soon feature the Spotify app as a dedicated content category. This new section, titled “Spotify,” will replace the current “audio” category on the home menu and will include channels specifically for podcasts, video podcasts, audiobooks, and playlists. This advanced connectivity technology ensures that travelers can enjoy uninterrupted streaming of their favorite Spotify content without worrying about losing signal during the flight. To access the service, passengers simply need to log in to their MileagePlus® account, accept the Starlink terms and conditions, and open the Spotify app—just as they would at home. This new feature further enhances the in-flight experience, providing passengers with greater convenience and entertainment options throughout their journey.

Those who are new to Spotify’s Premium Individual subscriptions can sign up and earn up to 1,000 bonus miles. The offer is further amplified by a partnership between Spotify and Kinective MediaSM by United Airlines, a groundbreaking traveler media network. Passengers will receive personalized prompts to subscribe to Spotify Premium and earn miles based on their MileagePlus status. These promotional messages will be displayed across various United media channels, including in-flight entertainment screens, the United app, United Club screens, and email, making it easier for travelers to take advantage of this exclusive offer.
