After completing a flight from San Francisco, California, to Medford, Oregon, on Friday afternoon, a United Airlines aircraft was found to be missing an external panel upon arrival, the airline confirmed.

Upon safely reaching Rogue Valley International Medford Airport, where it was docked at the gate with 145 passengers and crew members onboard, the absence of the panel was first spotted by someone on the ground, according to a statement from United Airlines.

Flight 433’s crew did not issue an emergency call, and no signs of the missing panel were observed during the journey, United Airlines reported.

The plane, a Boeing 737-800 model and not the more recently controversial 737 Max, is from an older generation, as noted by United.

The airline assured that the missing panel did not impact the aircraft’s ability to fly.
