The magnificent Super Nintendo World has been famous for bringing out characters by Nintendo at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. This spring, in 2024, there will be an expansion that will expand proportionally by 70% within the DONKEY KONG COUNTRY™ area.
In the past, the Super Mario series was renowned for offering an immersive experience through its cutting-edge rides, interactive zones, stores, and eateries. Now, the new section will be instrumental in waltzing away into the adventure world of Donkey Kong, which will feature immersive environments and interactive attractions that will bring the iconic game to life.
The Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Universal Creative, Brian Robinson, has been effectively sharing insights and experiences that are waiting for fans in DONKEY KONG COUNTRY.
In order to increase the sense of thrill and excitement, he underlined the park’s dedication to realizing fans’ desires by giving them the possibility to experience their preferred virtual worlds in real life. Visitors can already experience the Mario universe firsthand at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. The DONKEY KONG COUNTRY expansion will increase this interactivity and gameplay, and it will feature a revolutionary family coaster that features cutting-edge technology that goes beyond traditional coaster designs and is modeled after the mine cart ride experiences from the Donkey Kong games.
In the not-so-distant future, Universal Studios Japan is set to become the epicenter of an enigmatic and thrilling escapade known as “Universal Cool Japan 2024.” From the onset of March to the cusp of summer in June 2024, a shadowy veil will be lifted, revealing an event steeped in suspense and anticipation. Among the returning legends is “Detective Conan,” a saga that commands a legion of ardent followers. Meanwhile, the “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne XR Walk” returns, offering an expedition into the unknown that promises to challenge the very limits of reality.
