Unvaccinated citizens of the United States planning to travel to France will requireself-isolating for ten days upon their arrival in France, since France’s authorities have added the US to the COVID-19 red list of countries.

The French government has confirmed that the rules for travelers from the US who have completed their immunization process against the virus will remain the same.

However, vaccinated travelers from the United States will still need to present a negative result of the Corona virus test before their arrival in France.

The US is also experiencing a difficult situation due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant. Authorities in the US have registered a record number of infections for the second consecutive day.

French authorities have also tightened their restrictions regarding imposing stricter entry rules for curbing further spread of Omicron.
