UP tourism and VDA inks MoU for tourism boost in Varanasi

The UP tourism division and Varanasi Development Authority inked a MoU for boosting tourism in Varanasi by creating a ‘tent city’ and presenting hot air balloon trips and water sports undertakings. This agreement is predictable to produce work prospects and entice overseas travelers.

Jaiveer Singh, the minister of tourism and culture and Mukesh Meshram, the principal secretary were present at an event where the MoU was signed with the VDA for providing a stimulus to tourism in Varanasi.

As part of this agreement, the division and VDA will cooperatively advance a ‘tent city’ in Varanasi and
provide hot air balloon outings and water sports undertakings for tourists.

Jaiveer Singh said that this MoU would also create work prospects. He said that currently, Uttar Pradesh is
prominent in local tourism in India. Their effort is to attain the top spot concerning enticing global tourists at the same time.

Mukesh Kumar Meshram said that the amenity of hot air balloon trip was beforehand delivered to tourists in Varanasi on an experimental way. Considering its attractiveness, arrangements are being made to
provide the service forever.
