Through a new partnership with Kuwait’s Action Real Estate Company, Corinthia Group, operating under its parent company IHI plc, has successfully secured the neighboring properties. The acquisition is part of a broader strategy to grow Corinthia’s footprint in Beverly Hills.
The two hotels will continue operations under their current branding with Palisociety managing them in the short term. Corinthia’s real estate development division, Corinthia Real Estate Ventures (C-REV), led by Managing Partners Marcus Pisani and Alex Chazkel, will oversee the hotels and manage asset operations. C-REV will also explore potential opportunities to enhance the properties’ long-term value.
This acquisition follows Corinthia’s December 2024 partnership with Action Real Estate Company, which aims to explore luxury hotel and real estate investments in key global markets, including the Americas.
In October 2024, Corinthia marked its North American debut with the opening of The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel, in New York. The property, which underwent a significant renovation, is the result of a 2021 management agreement with the Reuben Brothers. The 16-story hotel features 100 guest rooms, including 30 suites, as well as 14 residences and a location for the Miami Beach institution Casa Tua.
