For the peak summers, the US has recently called off Covid-related travel testing. The tourism industry of US is probably to welcome a major boost up. Thanks to this declaration that makes travel to and from the country hassle-free. However, one needs to be prudent.

The country is becoming less anxious about COVID-19 and its new variants.

As per the 2021 Q4 Global Consumer Survey of GlobalData, which aims on the attitude of consumer towards COVID-19, US respondents are more and more showing signs of less worry about the pandemic. Almost one third of American consumers in Q4 said that they were ‘not concerned’ or ‘slightly concerned’ about the pandemic. These pinpoint that US respondents and their opinion is changing to a more positive side. The US locals and businesses are now more open to welcoming new inbound tourists to the country. This is partially because of the vaccine roll-out in large-scale.

Globally, the US has one of the best vaccination rates with 78.6% of the population received their first dose and 67.3% will be getting their second dose by June 15, 2022.

The Department of Commerce, US, is keen on influencing the current programs and assets to showcase the country to the international visitors and widen their marketing to give confidence to the visitors.

For the US tourism industry, this has the potential to be positive with targeted marketing building as for the Canadians, the country is the most preferred destination.
