Victorians can now win one of 150,000 travel vouchers. This popular scheme returns and seeks to return $200 million business stimulus package to support local businesses and jobs. Mary-Anne Thomas, the Acting Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events has said that 10,000 vouchers will be initially available exclusively to seniors from tomorrow. The 140,000 vouchers will be available to everyone else on Wednesday 23 March.

A $200 reimbursement to eligible seniors who spend $400 or more on paid accommodation, tours and experiences, will be available under the Seniors Travel Voucher Scheme. The winners will be chosen by random ballot, and the registrations for the coupons will open at 11:00 am tomorrow. Victorian Seniors Card or Seniors Business Discount Card, is a must for registering to the ballot.

On Wednesday 23 March, the Victorian Travel Voucher Scheme will open eight days. The 140,000 vouchers will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis and will close once the allocation has been exhausted.

The successful applicants must spend a minimum of $400 and stay for at least two-nights in paid accommodation like hotels and motels, serviced apartments, caravan parks, camping sites, farm stays and private holiday rentals. The vouchers will be valid for travel between 8 April and 27 May.
