Viraj Kadam Leads Sofitel Mumbai BKC as a Executive Housekeeper

Sofitel Mumbai BKC, a distinguished luxury hotel situated in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, recently announced the appointment of Viraj Kadam as their new Executive Housekeeper.

Viraj embarked on his career journey with The Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport in 2010, starting as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. He then progressed to the role of Executive Housekeeper at The Westin Mumbai Garden City in 2017, which was his immediate position prior to joining the team at Sofitel Mumbai BKC.

Throughout his career, Viraj has taken an active role in training teams, ensuring seamless coordination with operations departments for smooth transitions of rooms, upholding loss prevention policies and procedures, overseeing daily shift operations, and contributing to superior customer service. He has also been instrumental in analyzing monthly MIS reports, focusing on budget and actual consumption, and collaborating with the HR department to enhance training programs for both existing and new staff members.

In his previous role, Viraj accomplished an outstanding BSA (Brand Standard Audit) score of 100.8% in 2023, earning the title of Master Certified Departmental Trainer from APEC L&D. His expertise extends to two years in spa and rooms management, and he has consistently received Manager of the Month/Year accolades in his previous positions.

Outside of his professional life, Viraj harbors a passion for dance, evidenced by his completion of Level 02 at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Dance Academy.
