Hotel W Dubai – the Palm recently announced that it will start reopening its doors to guests once again from July 30. The decision arrived after most of UAE’s hotels where given the permission to gradually reopen in the wake of the COVID-19 restrictions that demanded closure of the properties to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease.

W Dubai – the Palm serves as one of Dubai’s most popular hotels for international guests and staycations. The announcement regarding the mid-summer reopening of the hotel follows the opening of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah that is set to restart next week. The hotel would be reopening just a few weeks after Dubai begins to welcome back tourists starting July 7.

Alongside being one of Dubai’s topmost accommodation venue, W Dubai – the Palm is also home to a number of popular bars and restaurants, including chef Massimo Bottura’s modern Italian restaurant Torno Subito; Japanese and Korean fine dining spot Akira Back; all-day dining restaurant Liv; rooftop bar SoBe and pool bar Wet Deck. The hotel has always been recognised for being a highly popular summer destination as well as for its range of food and beverage venues and outdoor activities.

Though the hotel is planning to also resume operations at Akira Back, LIV, WET Deck and the private beach, it has not yet been confirmed if the additional services will be available on the same day as the day of reopening. Only the all-day dining restaurant Liv has declared reopening confirmation alongside the hotel. The hotel still mentions that some hotel facilities or services may not be available to guests for a period of time as disclaimer for booking at present.
