Warwan festival concludes today

At Warwan, the two-day Warwan Festival was organized. Warwan is nestled in the charming Kavyard region of Warwan Tehsil located within Kishtwar district. Today this festival concluded with an exciting fusion of adventure and cultural activities. This outstanding sight was perfectly orchestrated by Jammu Directorate of Tourism, together with the J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages and the District Administration Kishtwar.

Drawing an inspiring meeting of more than 10,000 visitors and adventure seekers over two days, previously, the festival was inaugurated by Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, the Secretary Tourism & Culture. The festival provided a wide range of activities, starting right from tranquil sessions of yoga to heart-pounding marathon races, from elegant rides on the horseback to the charming live painting events. 

Adventure lovers celebrated fascinating activities such as trekking through the picturesque sceneries, taking part in bike rallies and took part in angling expeditions. Nature enthusiasts, during the event, pampered themselves in relaxed nature walks and starwatching sessions. The enthusiasts of sports got
engaged in activities like, kho kho, volleyball and tug-of-war. 

The festival featured terrifying adventures related to river rafting for the first time ever in this scenic location. The captivating live musical performances elevated the entertainment quotient by a cast of remarkably talented artists.
