The Slide & Splash water park, nestled in the scenic locale of Lagoa, is set to kick off another thrilling season from March 28, boasting an impressive lineup of approximately 25 attractions tailored for visitors of all ages. In a remarkable commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability, the park is putting the finishing touches on the renovation of its famed Black Hole slide, anticipated to reopen in June, ensuring an adventure-packed and eco-friendly experience for all its guests.
Visitors have spoken, and the verdict is clear: the latest additions to the park’s slide repertoire have captured the hearts of thrill-seekers. Highlights include the Boomerang, featuring a high-speed float ride complete with light effects and a dramatic twist; the Race, where participants can compete on six vibrant lanes; and the Big Fall, known for its speedy “capsule trip” — a first of its kind in Southern Portugal.
In an innovative move, Slide & Splash has introduced exclusive areas catering to groups of 4 to 10 people. These areas are outfitted with 15 Cabanas, each equipped with a fridge and safe, alongside water perks and special discounts in the park’s restaurants and stores. This season also sees the park expanding its amenities with a massage center, fish spa, waterproof tattoos, and six culinary outlets, not to mention a convenience and souvenir shop, enriching the visitor experience.
In a nod to evolving visitor preferences and ethical considerations, Slide & Splash has decided to discontinue animal shows and photo opportunities, focusing instead on interactive and sustainable entertainment options.

Residents of the Algarve can enjoy a special campaign ending on June 30, while Children’s Day on June 1 promises free entry with the purchase of a Normal or Senior ticket.

In response to the Algarve’s water scarcity issues, the park has significantly optimized water usage through innovative measures, such as the adoption of two water treatment plants—one recycling water for cleaning filters for use in bathrooms and gardens, and the other employing reverse osmosis to replenish swimming pools. The introduction of flow reducers on public taps, washbasins, and showers has further contributed to a 60% reduction in public network water consumption.
