WestJet declares developing its European summer 2024 set-up

WestJet has declared development of its European summer 2024 set-up. Driven by its increasing 737 MAX convoy, the airline reinstated its desirable facility linking Eastern Canada and Europe and presented new facility from Calgary to Reykjavik.

With WestJet continuing its reinforce its existence in Western Canada, the airline is also increasing its 787 Dreamliner center, growing regularities for global itineraries and adding day-to-day select services to Japan.


John Weatherill, the Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer of WestJet Group said that the declaration highlights their pledge toward reasonably linking Canadians nationwide to some of the most well-known places in the world. Weatherill said that as they carry on expanding their development story, they are not only delivering amplified convenience to Canadians but encouraging vital link between communities and motivating financial progress through inbound holiday and business travel.


With four-time weekly facility, starting from May 15 this year, WestJet will be the only airline delivering non-stop link to Iceland from Calgary.


Weatherill said that talking with local associates, they decided to declare their purpose to start facility to Keflavik in May. He said that they will continue to carefully observe volcanic action in the region and adhere to the suggestion of local authorities.
