World Series of Poker Game is moving to Toronto

Canada’s leader in gaming and hospitality, Great Canadian Entertainment, is quite happy to declare that the richest, most well-respected, and longest-running poker series – World Series of Poker, is moving to Toronto for the first WSOP Circuit organized at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto. From March 22nd – April 1st, 2024, the WSOP Circuit will take place in collaboration with GGPoker.

In total, highlighting eight Circuit Ring events, the World Series Of Poker Circuit at Great Canadian Toronto will be headlined by $3.9 million estimated prize pools in total, comprising a $2,000 Main Event, with a total prize pool of $2.1 million, and $3,500 High Roller event, with over $850,000 prize pool. At Great Canadian Toronto, the new WSOP Circuit builds on the impetus produced by the record-breaking 54th annual WSOP, which occurred summer 2023.

They are excited to work together for the first time with GGPoker to bring the World Series of Poker to Toronto. This is an appropriate milestone that will make additional momentum for their newly opened 30-table poker room at Great Canadian Toronto, the recent newest and biggest casino resort in Canada, stated the General Manager, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, Robert Katsavelos.

The Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, next to Woodbine Racetrack, is the recent and largest casino resort of Canada and one of the biggest in North America.
