International guests associated with outdoor sports and mountain tourism met in the mountainous Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in China and shown the 2023 International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports to the world on Saturday.
The meeting for 2023 targets at exploring the deep connection of mountain tourism and multi-industries, encouraging the first-rate development of mountain tourism, and offering first-class experiences of tourism for the visitors.
From sports, culture and tourism bodies and enterprises, outdoor and mountain sports organizations, and investment and finance institutes from home and other countries, almost 700 guests took part in the opening ceremony on Saturday, comprising those from Nepal, France, Portugal and Laos.
The deputy secretary of Guizhou Provincial Committee, Li Bingjun, said that the province will make sustainable initiations in creating an improved mountainous park province to ease the industry and cater people’s welfare and the development of the province at the opening ceremony.
The province is targeting to become a world-class destination. It will improve its resources in terms of local tourism and services and discovering more visitor sources to attain first-class tourism development, according to Li. Data pinpoints the fact that tourism industry of Guizhou has welcomed 464 million visitors in 2023.
