Walking in a snow-covered winter utopia is one thing that everyone should explore. However, why not dog sledding, snowshoeing, or even fat biking as well? When the snow-covered winter season hits the Yukon, a small Canadian territory, that’s the time when everyone likes to bundle up and get all prepared for action.

If one can embrace the biting cold-weather shenanigans, the Yukon could be the next playground to visit. There are innumerable ways to relish a day for lovely winter here, it can be quite tough to know where to start. So, here’s a list of some popular activities to take part and have an epic Yukon winter.

The biggest winter attraction of Yukon is the northern lights. However, what’s there to do when one is waiting for the lights to come out? These nine winter activities that we have jotted down will soon be the bucket list of every travel enthusiast won’t even need a bucket to do them.

Dog Sledding- Whip sideways the snowy trails all through the valleys that are fully and across frozen rivers led by a pack of sled dogs.

Fat biking – The fat tires of the hired rented bikes allow one to move in the snow, traverse the frozen lakes, and untouched trails. 

Also, there are Ice fishing, Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Yukon Rendezvous, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling to indulge in.
