When combined with Singapore Airlines’ existing Christchurch operations, travelers will have access to as many as 15 weekly flights between Singapore and Christchurch during peak travel months from November 2026 through February 2027.

While the carrier will reduce its Auckland schedule from three daily flights to two, it will introduce the Airbus A380 on daily services SQ285 and SQ286 during the Northern Winter season. The move will allow the airline to transport more passengers while improving efficiency and enhancing the onboard experience.
The Airbus A380 remains one of the world’s largest passenger aircraft and offers premium cabin options including Suites, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy seating.
