Azerbaijan is keen on becoming 20 fast growing tourism nations

In recent times, the presence of world’s 9 of the 11 climatic zones, our natural resources, our rich historical and cultural heritage, our national cuisine, the socio-economic development of our country, the transformation of the island into stability, draws tourists’ worldwide.

The participation of Azerbaijan in events of international standard, symposia and conferences, international sports events, music festivals and cultural events has constructive effect on the growth and expansion of tourism in our country.

Also, the hospitality of our people has played a crucial role in the selection of tourists.
Particularly those who are planning a family trip, where there is stability and attitude towards people. In this case, Azerbaijan draws the attention of foreigners as a country known for its unique nature, geographical location and stability.

Due to the complete support of the tourism by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s tourism has entered a new phase.

Work on tourism advertising, continuing reforms, adopted state programs, the growth of new tourism, the hotel construction in accordance with international standards, the simplification of issuing visas that would make tourist trips easy and thereby represent our country as a new tourist destination in the world.

The Eurovision Song Contest, the First European Games, the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, the IV World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, and the IV Islamic Solidarity Games have played an outstanding role in raising the tourist numbers to our country.
