De Schepper joins Amadeus with immediate effect

Mieke De Schepper has been appointed by Amadeus to join lead the Travel Channels’ Online Travel segment with immediate effect.

She had earlier served Egencia, the travel management company of Expedia Group where she took the role of chief commercial officer. She holds more than 17 years of experience in managing business-to-consumer and business-to-business organizations.

She has spent ten years with Phillips Electronics and held several global, regional and local leadership roles in product, marketing and sales.

De Schepper in her new role will be helping online travel agencies, travel media companies and travel start-ups grow their business positioning Amadeus as the most preferred online travel partner.She will be reporting to Decius Valmorbida.

De Schepper will be assuming the regional leadership role and be based in Singapore,  she has earlier also worked across the globe.

De Schepper  was thrilled  to join Amadeus, she stated that online travel companies face the constant challenge to reinvent themselves in order to maintain their relevance.
