Travel agency worldwide will be able to have access to new content and fares from their airline driver customers as Amadeus has launched a new enhanced version of its flagship Web Services solution – Amadeus Travel API.
The solution has been co-designed by Travix, a driver customer of Amadeus’ NDC (X) program. It has had live NDC bookings in production since last year.
Some travel agencies will be the early adopters of the solution and will get first access to the solution and content offered by the airline driver customers through an NDC connectivity.
AERTiCKET, American Express Global Business Travel, BCD Travel, House of Travel and integrated tourism group TUI.
Airlines and travel agencies will be able to deliver more personalized and differentiated travel experiences because the move reflects Amadeus’ ongoing commitment drive the NDC forward via its NDC (X) program.
Travel agencies existing system will be able to build their own customised travel booking applications through the Amadeus Travel API. This will be rolled out globally and will be offering great functionality for Amadeus’ travel agency customers.
