Ega announced the appointment of Alain Pittet as Executive Director

Ega appointed Alain Pittet as its Executive Director to advise and support the company in their next level of internationalization.

From the new branch in Switzerland, Alain Pittet will lead a working group dedicated to the development of the international association congress business that is including association consultancy to help scientific communities to develop and grow.

Claudia Maria Golinelli, Vice President and CEO of Ega said that he is very happy that Alain will be part of their team.

With his experience and his managerial skills united to Ega’s international reputation and best practices, associations will be able to count on an innovative and reliable partner.

Ega is an event management company which is planning the future with the entry of Gaetano Maria Dieni who is representing the third generation and the protagonist of this strategic decision.

Alain Pittet is former council member of IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organisers). It is an international manager well-known and respected in the industry. He led Congrex Switzerland for 9 years with whom he achieved many successes, after his 16-year career at the MCH Group in Basel as Director Trade Shows and Exhibitions.
