This year the 6th edition of Agritravel & Slow Travel Expo becomes virtual. We launch this innovative format to revive slow and sustainable tourism at national and international level while traditional face-to-face events are difficult. Being virtual, a much wider audience can be reached: a great opportunity to promote the beauties and destinations of the territories, and to share new strategies to overcome the difficulties generated by this health emergency.
In these difficult times, it is critical to maintain a strong contact with the reference markets. All those territories that offer authentic and emotional experiences have new opportunities to attract visitors, at the same time when operators are looking for new destinations characterized by stunning landscapes, arts, traditions and food, and that support the concepts of sustainability and environment.
The event aims to enhance the positive experiences of past editions. The focus of 6th edition of Agritravel & Slow Travel Expo is again on valorizing the relationship between tourism, sustainability and innovation by promoting the territory from an overall and inclusive perspective. The innovative digital techniques allow optimising resources and time in order to achieve significant results for all the business areas:
• The new digital format provides a B2B area full of business opportunities with a meeting agenda
• Conferences and workshops held by national and international experts in the field in short (1-3 hours) events
• B2C area full of events for the public that will be able to appreciate the resources and opportunities of experiential and safe tourism.
Furthermore, on occasion of the World Tourism Day, for 27 September 2020, they schedule a virtual show of experiential tourism with online events from all over the world!
Holding this event in a virtual format allows flexible attendance “a la carte”. We are sure that in this particular historical period, this will multiply the connection between numerous national and international exhibitors and their potential visitors.
An important promotional campaign will accompany the entire event. All sessions and presentation will be recorded, and remain online until the end of the year.
