‘Bharat Darshan’ special tourist train service was launched

From 29th Aug, 2021, i.e. yesterday, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation or IRCTC started a ‘Bharat Darshan’ special tourist train. This new train named as Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train is one of the most reasonably priced train with all-inclusive tour package, comprising all the famous tourist places in India.


To quote IRCTC in one of its recent tweets, “The World’s Tallest Statue, the holiest pilgrimage centre, the most spectacular palace, the ‘Splendours of India’ are plenty.


How one can book this:
In IRCTC website, the booking procedure of Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train is available there. Also, bookings can be done via IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Centre, Zonal Offices and Regional Offices.


Places like Hyderabad – Ahmedabad – Nishkalank Mahadev Sea Temple – Jodhpur – Jaipur – Udaipur – Statue of Unity will be covered by the Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train. Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, MGR Chennai Central, Nellore and Vijayawada are going to be the boarding points for this train. A special 11 nights/12 day package for the train has been given by IRCTC which will cost Rs.11, 340 per adult.


IRCTC has requested the tourists to keep the Vaccination Certificate or RT-PCR negative report (less than 48 hrs prior to the journey date) handy. Also, tourists will receive insurance and sanitization kit.


Sleeper class will be offered for this journey. Night stay/fresh up at Dharmashalas on multi sharing basis. Morning tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and 1 liter drinking water per day are included.
