Mina Seyahi hotels collaborate with BE WTR

Living up to its commitment of getting rid of single-use plastic bottles and helping the Dubai Can initiative of the UAE government, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Spa and W Dubai – Mina Seyahi have become the first hotels to collaborate with BE WTR, one of the best brand in sustainable water. The three hotels by 2023, is set to do away with single-use plastic water bottles across its operations.

The hotels through this partnership with BE WTR is prepared to wipe out the use of plastic bottles in the region of the Mina Seyahi Complex. Also, they plan to promote more ecological water consumption by introducing reusable glass bottles along with a ground-breaking filtration methodology that will cleanse local tap water for safe drinking.

The BE WTR process includes an on-site bottling solution. It will be based at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina and will cater the three properties. The innovative filtration system of the company will purify local tap water. This system provides still and dirt-free local water that’s hygienic and tastes great.

First, the reusable glass bottles will be sent to the restaurants. After, that it would be sent to the guest rooms and other employees.

Also, the effort will support the decrease of carbon footprint by restricting the transportation of internationally branded water to only glass bottles and reducing refrigeration usage for cold water.
