Sri Lanka seeks superstar’s help to improve tourism

Dr. D. Venkateshwaran, Sri Lanka’s Deputy High Commissioner, met face- to-face with Padma Bhushan winner South Indian superstar, Mr. Rajinikanth, the famous actor. This meeting happened at the actor’s residence on 29 th May, 2023.

DHC invited Mr. Rajinikanth at the meeting to visit Sri Lanka as the actor’s presence will improve cinema stimulated tourism along with spiritual & wellness genre as well.

Also, DHC invited the actor personally to travel around the Ramayana Trail that is quite special to the island and other distinctive Buddhist sites of the country.
