Global Hospitality Sector Gains New Sustainability Roadmap As WSHA And Diversey Launch Strategic Partnership
The World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance (WSHA) and Diversey, a Solenis company, have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at helping hotels transform sustainability commitments into measurable operational improvements. The collaboration addresses the growing need for hospitality businesses to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency and advance social sustainability while continuing to deliver high standards of hygiene, safety and guest satisfaction.
Through this partnership, hotels will receive support in integrating sustainable practices across key operational areas, including cleaning, hygiene management, laundry services, kitchens and back-of-house functions. By combining WSHA’s sustainability network with Diversey’s technical knowledge and data-driven solutions, hospitality operators will be able to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve resource management, strengthen water stewardship and monitor sustainability progress in daily activities.

Diversey’s solutions are designed to support hotels in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer experience while reducing resource consumption and improving operational efficiency.
The collaboration represents a wider industry shift towards practical sustainability measures, where hotels are focusing not only on setting environmental targets but also on implementing solutions that deliver measurable improvements across their daily operations.
“Hotel teams need solutions that are easy to implement and reliable in day-to-day operations,” said Anouk Sassen, Regional Hospitality Sustainability Expert, Diversey. “Through this partnership, we can share practical experience with WSHA members and help translate sustainability priorities into improvements that work on property.”
