Pradeep Kandari has been appointed as the General Manager of The Leela Gandhinagar and Mahatma Mandir Exhibition and Convention Center (MMCEC). Over the last 20 years, Pradeep has gained extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry and will be responsible for providing a best-in-class experience to all guests, and improving operational performance and revenue strategy at The Leela, Gandhinagar.

Bringing more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Pradeep will lead the property with a focus on elevating guest experiences, strengthening operational excellence, driving business growth, and enhancing its position in Gujarat’s expanding luxury hospitality sector.

Recognised for his deep understanding of guest expectations and commitment to personalised service, Pradeep has built his hospitality philosophy around attention to detail, meaningful guest interactions, and delivering memorable luxury experiences.

Pradeep joined The Leela in January 2023 and has since taken on progressive leadership responsibilities across the brand’s Bengaluru portfolio. Before his latest appointment, he served as Hotel Manager at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, where he contributed to operational performance and guest service excellence.

With extensive expertise in luxury hospitality, Pradeep brings a strong understanding of premium service standards and the changing preferences of luxury travellers. His career includes leadership roles with globally recognised hospitality brands such as The St. Regis Mumbai, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Le Royal Méridien, and Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.

His international exposure also includes an assignment with Manchester Marriott, which further strengthened his global perspective on luxury hospitality, personalised service delivery, and international guest expectations.

Through this new role at The Leela Gandhinagar and MMCEC, Pradeep will focus on building on the property’s reputation as a leading luxury destination in Gujarat while creating exceptional experiences for leisure travellers, business guests, and visitors attending major events at the convention centre.
