Unity Electro Fest marks its fifth anniversary September 4 through 6, 2026, and is returning to March Jean-Talon in Charlesbourg. The three-day event draws both prominent international and Canadian EDM DJs with an impressive line-up headlined by Dutch producer and DJ, Tiesto, plus Illenium and Timmy Trumpet.

Bringing together huge international EDM stars and Canadian ones this summer is another excuse for tourists to visit Quebec City at the very close of summer here in the Great White North. While at the festival, visitors are able to pair electronic music performances over three consecutive days with historical Quebec City districts, culinary scene, and cultural sites. Three Headliners Lead Three Nights of Electronic Music

The first Unity Electro Fest will take place over three days at March Jean-Talon, 1750 Rue Prigord, Quebec City. Tisto heads the inaugural programme on the first night, September 4, as he is joined by the talents of Fedde Le Grand, Gravagerz, Ghetto Birds, Laura Scavo and many more. The main bill on day two, September 5, see another three headliners announced with The name of Illenium being the main artist on day two, with support of Adventure club, NGHTMRE Sam Lamar B2B Filthy, Humansion, Khaos and Deroz, who will carry over day two with a move from more melodic tones to much bass heavier tunes.

Timmy Trumpet, headlines and closes a 5 th anniversary weekend and isjoined by world renowned acts, Vini Vici alongside, Mike Demero Domeno Lucky Rose, LayOut, DJ Mika and many more in a lineup that continues to grow and dominate the EDM world.

The complete program announced includes; Alex Zizka, Anna Wilder, DJ Skittlez, Dominic Perreault, and various other performers from Canada, U.S.A, and even farther off to provide a combination of well-known international electronic artists along with our Canadian talent.

Fifth Anniversary Marks Another Step for Unity Electro Fest

Unity Electro Fest has developed its presence in Quebec City’s electronic music scene since its launch in 2022. Its fifth edition continues that growth by pairing internationally recognised performers with DJs from Quebec and elsewhere in Canada.

Previous programmes have featured artists including Marshmello, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, KSHMR, Meduza, James Hype, Bob Sinclar, DVBBS, Morten, Tita Lau, Twinsick and Deorro.

Organisers have also outlined production enhancements for the 2026 edition, including changes to the main-stage set-up, additional technical towers and expanded lighting, sound and visual production.

The format strengthens Quebec City’s late-summer events calendar while giving electronic music travellers a festival outside Canada’s largest EDM markets.

Travellers Should Plan Their Transport Before Festival Weekend

Visitors relying on public transport should check their journey shortly before travelling. Quebec City’s public transport authority, the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC), introduced several service changes in Charlesbourg from 22 August 2026.

The changes affect several routes and include new eXpress services. RTC also introduced Flexibus 8 – Charlesbourg in the Orsainville sector. Flexibus provides on-demand public transport within designated areas and can connect passengers with the regular bus network.

Travellers should use current RTC journey information instead of relying on an older route plan. RTC advises passengers making connections to leave extra time because it does not guarantee connections between services.

Pack for Warm Days and Much Cooler Evenings

Early September can bring pleasant conditions, but festival visitors should prepare for significant temperature changes during the day.

Official Quebec City tourism information lists September’s average high at around 18°C and its average low at approximately 8°C. The month averages about 128 mm of rainfall, while mornings and evenings become noticeably cooler as summer ends.

Festivalgoers should therefore pack layers, comfortable footwear and rain protection. A light waterproof jacket can prove useful at an outdoor event, particularly for visitors expecting to remain at the venue into the evening.

Know Quebec Rules Before Attending

International visitors should remember that provincial rules can differ from those elsewhere in Canada.

Quebec prohibits people under 21 from possessing cannabis. Provincial rules also prohibit smoking or vaping cannabis in indoor or outdoor spaces open to the public, including public roads. Travellers should follow both provincial legislation and any stricter rules established by the festival venue.

Visitors should also carry identification where required, check festival entry conditions before leaving their accommodation and confirm what bags or personal items the venue permits.
