From a transformed Plato’s Lounge and refurbishment of one-MICHELIN-starred Ossiano to expanded poolside spaces and a new indoor dining venue, the investment covers several of the destination’s most prominent guest areas.

The programme also brings new luxury retail names to Atlantis Dubai, further expanding its position as a combined hospitality, entertainment, dining and lifestyle destination in Dubai.

What Is Changing at Atlantis, The Palm?

Atlantis, The Palm is receiving upgrades across its dining, leisure and guest spaces, with Plato’s Lounge and Ossiano among the key areas being transformed.

Plato’s Lounge will be expanded into the resort’s main lobby, with a new terrace balcony providing views towards the Dubai skyline. The redesigned lounge will feature more than twice its original seating capacity, giving guests additional space to relax, dine, enjoy coffee or experience afternoon tea.

The project will also introduce a new accessible ramped pathway replacing the existing stairs. Guest circulation through the area will be reconfigured as part of the changes, with the aim of creating a smoother flow through the lobby and lounge.

How Will Ossiano Be Transformed?

Ossiano, the one-MICHELIN-starred underwater fine dining restaurant, will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment designed to elevate its dining environment while retaining its distinctive identity.

The enhancements are intended to create a more immersive setting for diners while complementing the restaurant’s established culinary experience.

As one of Atlantis Dubai’s signature dining venues, the refurbishment forms part of the wider investment in food and beverage spaces across the destination.

What Is New at Atlantis The Royal?

Atlantis The Royal is expanding its leisure and food and beverage offering with The Garden Bar, a new open-air lounge surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The venue will increase outdoor seating capacity and offer panoramic views across the resort. It is being designed as a social setting that can be used during both daytime and evening hours.

The resort is also enhancing the Royal Pool, with new family facilities and additional sunbeds planned as part of its leisure upgrades.

What Is Changing at Cloud 22?

Cloud 22 is being reconfigured to create additional poolside space and increase its sunbed capacity.

As part of the changes, the Lotus Bar will move to the opposite side of the venue. The bar’s former location will then become an expanded sunbed deck, adding approximately 40 new sunbeds.

The redesigned pool deck will also provide additional vantage points overlooking Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

The changes are intended to make greater use of the venue’s elevated setting while providing additional space for guests to relax around the pool.

What Is Poseidon’s Village at Aquaventure World?

Aquaventure World is set to introduce Poseidon’s Village, a new indoor dining destination replacing the area previously known as Barracudas.

The fully themed restaurant will become the park’s largest indoor dining venue, with capacity for almost 400 guests indoors and nearly 300 outdoors.

The new facility will substantially increase dining capacity within Aquaventure World while providing visitors with a dedicated environment to take a break and refuel during their time at the waterpark.

The development forms part of a broader programme of improvements throughout Aquaventure World.

The waterpark is also receiving refurbishment and restoration work across its facilities and wider landscape.

River Rapids will undergo a full refurbishment and resurfacing programme, while painting, restoration and landscaping works will take place across the park.
