Amadeus has announced a new technology partnership with Singapore-based Pacific Arena Pte Ltd, which has chosen the Amadeus Travel Platform as its main system for travel bookings and customer servicing. As part of the agreement, Pacific Arena will move away from its current global distribution systems and bring its operations together on one integrated platform. The transition aims to simplify booking processes, improve operational efficiency and give corporate and leisure travellers faster access to a wider range of travel options.

Pacific Arena began its journey in 1976 as a small travel specialist in Singapore. Over the past five decades, the company has steadily expanded its operations and established a strong presence in the country’s travel industry. Its growth reflects the changing needs of travellers and the increasing demand for more convenient, flexible and personalised travel services.

From its early beginnings, Pacific Arena has developed into a diversified travel group catering to different segments of the tourism market. Its services now cover corporate travel, leisure holidays, cruise tourism and the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector. This broad range of offerings allows the company to serve both individual travellers and businesses with different travel requirements.

The group operates through several established brands, including PriceBreaker, Accolade, Cruise Arena and ATG Travel. Each brand contributes to its wider travel services portfolio, helping the company address the needs of different customer groups. With a network of offices across Singapore, Pacific Arena continues to support travellers seeking holiday experiences, business travel arrangements and specialised tourism services.

As it marks 50 years in the travel industry, Pacific Arena is preparing for its next phase of development through digital transformation. The company is investing in modern travel technology to simplify operations, improve booking efficiency and deliver a more seamless customer experience. This shift towards an integrated digital platform is expected to strengthen its operational capabilities and support long-term growth in Singapore’s evolving travel market.

Through the partnership, Pacific Arena will gain access to a broad selection of travel products and services within a single technology environment. The Amadeus Travel Platform will connect the company with suppliers and industry partners offering flights, accommodation, rail journeys, cruises and destination experiences. This integrated approach is designed to reduce the complexity of managing multiple booking systems while making it easier for travel consultants to arrange and service different types of journeys.

Pacific Arena will also introduce Amadeus Robotics and Productivity solutions to automate selected operational tasks and improve day-to-day workflows. These tools are expected to reduce repetitive manual processes, help travel consultants work more efficiently and support a smoother customer experience. The agreement represents an important step in Pacific Arena’s digital transformation as it seeks to strengthen its technology capabilities and deliver more responsive travel services across its business segments.

“As we mark 50 years of travel excellence, we are investing in the right technology to carry Pacific Arena confidently into the next 50. Amadeus gives us a platform that matches our ambition — one that allows our teams to access richer travel content, operate more seamlessly across every business line, and ultimately deliver experiences that our clients will remember. This is a new chapter for our company, and we are excited about what it means for our travelers and our teams.” CherylChung, Vice President, Pacific Arena Pte Ltd.

The transition will bring Pacific Arena’s existing technology systems together on a single, integrated platform, simplifying daily operations and removing repetitive tasks. This streamlined approach will allow employees to spend more time providing tailored services and improving the customer experience. The upgrade is also expected to help travel consultants manage bookings more efficiently, respond to customer requests faster and reduce processing delays. At the same time, improved access to business data will give management a clearer understanding of operational performance, supporting better planning and more informed decisions.

“Pacific Arena has built a remarkable legacy as a trusted travel partner for Singapore’s corporate and leisure communities. We are proud to be chosen as the technology partner to support the next phase of their journey and this partnership reflects the confidence that travel sellers across Southeast Asia are placing in Amadeus to power their digital future” says Ramona Bohwongpersert, Senior Vice President, SE Asia, Inside Sales & Startups APAC, Travel Sellers, Amadeus.
