Plaza Premium Group Sets New Aviation Benchmark With Global Lounge Award and 10-Year Skytrax Winning Journey

Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a leading global provider of airport hospitality and passenger experience solutions, has achieved another major milestone after being named the “World’s Best Airport Lounge Group” at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards, widely recognised as one of the aviation industry’s most respected honours.

The recognition represents PPG’s 10th consecutive Skytrax award success since 2016, highlighting the group’s decade-long commitment to delivering premium airport experiences for travellers worldwide. Before receiving this year’s title, Plaza Premium Lounge was repeatedly recognised as the “World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge” from 2016 through 2025, creating a continuous winning record that has now reached ten consecutive years.

The latest achievement reflects PPG’s ongoing focus on innovation, service excellence and improving the passenger journey across international airports. The award further strengthens the group’s position as a global leader in independent airport lounge services and reinforces its mission of making travel experiences more comfortable, seamless and memorable.

PPG also secured strong results in Skytrax’s World’s Best Independent Airport Lounges rankings, with three of its lounges earning places among the global top ten. Plaza Premium Lounge at Rome Fiumicino Airport ranked second, while the London Heathrow Airport lounge achieved fourth place. The Plaza Premium Lounge at Dubai International Airport also secured a position among the world’s leading independent airport lounges.
