The Travel Association has launched a new survey, working with partners in the Save Future Travel Coalition (SFTC), which aims to gather data on booking trends for the Easter/summer periods, following the removal of the UK’s travel restrictions.

The survey also aims to assess the latest employment situation and will help to help track the industry’s recovery and establish valuable evidence on remaining barriers and challenges.

ABTA is encouraging members to respond to the survey by April 29.

It takes just 10-15 minutes to complete.

Emma Wade, Public Affairs Manager at ABTA – The Travel Association said:

The industry is clearly in a much more positive place compared to where they were at the start of the year when travel was still heavily restricted, but they know that the recovery is not without its challenges.

They continue to engage with ministers, politicians, and government officials on what the sector needs to ensure a steady recovery and insight and evidence from Members, and their Coalition partners, is vital to this work.

As they have seen during the course of the pandemic, accurate and reliable data has played an important part in the direction of public policy and will undoubtedly continue to do so in the coming months.

Member data is a value source of information and plays a vital role in supporting ABTA’s political engagement.

They are grateful to Members for their input to date and encourage them to take part in this latest survey so we have the most up to date evidence available to support our lobbying.
